Plagiarism

This late weekender is inspired by (actually copied)from Anand's comments in one of the posts. The puzzles are interesting and I will copy the rest from his comments.

Check out the couple of interesting puzzles (not difficult) on this website. More interesting is how to get to the solution.

Btw, similar to that relpats website, IIM-Indore guys have created some puzzles. They are a lot simpler though, at least the initial ones. Check out.

And can you guess these movie anagrams. If you do not get the first one, stop right there :) (Question and exclamation marks are added just to make anagrams sound better.)

Got Pun?
The Hog Farted
Big Absent Man
Fine as the Barbaric Poet
Folding Shorter: The Foreign Trunk
Oh! Fetching Superman

Fill in the blanks:
Pumbaa is the first Disney character to .... on screen.

Managed to get only one of the anagrams (other than TG):

Batman Begins

Seems pretty hard, especially, since I have lost touch a bit with English movies.

I know that this was pretty darn tough but "Batman Begins" was the only movie that did not have any indirect clue anywhere in my blog or blogPointers.

1. The Hog Farted

I have a post on "Sarkar" where I mention that this is RGV's tribute to "The Godfather" but is quite different from it.

2. Fine as the Barbaric Poet

My blog title should have been a hint. Agreed that I should have included "Curse of the Black Pearl" for completion but that would have made it much more complicated.

3. Folding Shorter: The Foreign Trunk

I mentiond that ";" and "?" are not in movie names and left the ":". How many good (and recent) movies can you think of? I know this was not much of a hint, but "Return of the King" is one of my all time favourites.

4. Oh! Fetching Superman

This had to be toughest and hence was listed last. But we have a review posted on the front page of www.diljale.org on this movie. Their stamina and ability to fight the cold makes these penguins super-birds at least. (Ironically, they cannot fly though :) )

And about Pumbaa, I wrote that because of the anagram of "The Godfather". Pumbaa, the warthog, is the first Disney Character to fart on screen.
